Q. Does it hurt?

 

A. The amount of pain an individual experiences differs from one person to the next as everybody has a different pain threshold. Tattoo equipment is designed to cause a minimum amount of trauma. Many people say "it’s not as bad as I thought"

 

 

Q. How old do you have to be?

 

A. Legally 18 years of age, you will be asked to provide photographic evidence of your age (passport, driving licence) if you are lucky enough to look under 21 years.

 

 

Q. How much does it cost?

 

A. Tattoos are priced on the size and complexity of the design your tattooist will advise the price. There is however, a minimum charge of £30

 

 

Q. What tattoo do you think I should get?

 

A. Only you can decide! You are the one who will be wearing it for the rest of your life not the tattooist or your friends or family so THINK long and hard and research your ideas.

 

 

Q. What if I change my mind?

 

A. Tattoos are for life and not easily removed. Be sure you want the tattoo. Tattoos can be covered with another design however you will need to speak to the tattooist and obtain his advise. If you have a tattoo you no longer want laser therapy is available, this is a long, costly process to remove unwanted tattoos.

 

 

Q. How do I look after my new tattoo?

 

A. You will be advised at the time of your tattoo, listen to what you are told. New products are entering the market everyday and may be advised. Friends, although well meaning may not be up to date with their information.
